Over 4,000 Couples have already registered as Domestic Partners in Washingon

Over the past year,over 4,280 couples have registered as domestic partners through the Office of the Secretary of State’s Corporation Division in Washington State. Nearly 300 of those registered on the first day the program became available last July 23rd.  You can read The Secretary of State’s Press release about the anniversary of  DP registration using the link below.  Sam Reed is a Republican. This man deserves a great deal of praise.

Also deserving of great praise is Governor Christine Gregoire who was the Grand Marshall in the Seattle Gay Pride  Parade this year and pushed for passage of both DP bills.
