Tomorrow (November 3rd) is the last chance to turn in your ballot to APPROVE Referendum 71 and preserve domestic partnerships in Washington State. Ballots were mailed on October 16th, so if you have not yet returned your ballot youMUST do so tomorrow! There are two ways you can make your ballot count.
1. Hand-deliver your ballot to specified collection locations. This is the sure-fire way to make your vote count on Election Day and not have to wait for the postal service to deliver it. You can find the nearest location by clicking here.
2. Take your ballot to your local post office and mail it back. Do not rely on your home pickup, because you never know if the November 3rd postmark will make it onto your ballot. Without the postmark on or before November 3rd, your ballot will be invalid.
After you've taken care of your own ballot, email and call all your friends and family to make sure they have done the same. It's about time we start winning at the ballot box and it's going to take our combined efforts to make that happen. So pick up that phone and make those calls right now!
